Hey guys, making a post to put some specific GenCon stuff up. I'll be leaving Anchorage Tuesday August 4th at 9:35 pm and coming back Sunday August 8th at 3:35 pm. Ya, that means I'll miss the very tail end of the convention. Sad

If you want any cards signed or want something special picked up. Just make a post here. I'm not sure how much extra time I'll have but I'll be sure to try my best at getting what you want. Jacob and Nick will also be going so they might be open to favors too.

-John, get a signed Hida Kuon exp6 and Hida Kisada exp.
-Cody, get a signed Daigotsu exp3.
-Stephen, get something Phoenix that is awesome.
-Adam, Imperial Gift III, if able to get more than one.

Matt....when your there if when your looking around at all the booths....im looking for phoenix stuff.....unique kool looking stuff....not necessarily prints but awesome phoenix stuff. if you could just keep your eye open for like sick deck backers or dice or deck boxes...if you could just your eyes open for me that would be fantastic!

Hmm, well I haven't gotten any of the cards from ya'll yet so I'll just bring my own and get them signed and you can just give me your copies when I get back. I'll have to double check if I have a Lotus Kisada somewhere. Adam, I remember you telling me you wanted something from GenCon and I told you to post it but you never did. Just let me know if you do, I should have some internet while there so I can check here. My info is in the contact section should you wish to call or something too.

Edit: Found a Kisada, not foil though, if that's what you had in mind. I also remember Adam, you asked for an Imperial Gift III. I'll try to get an extra copy if they allow me to take more than one.

I gave my cards to Jacob because I haven't seen you the last two weeks. I'm not sure how much free time Jacob will have so of you get the chance matt can you get them signed for me if Jacob cant? Please update as much as possible. I REALLY wanted to attend this year.

I ended up having no internet access during the stay, sorry I missed you and your post Rick. I helped Jacob get some cards signed for you and I'm sure he got the rest done. For anyone who doesn't know I failed to qualify during Thursday so I decided to just enjoy the convention for the rest of the weekend instead of spending it all playing L5R. I wasn't sure if that was the correct choice at the time but now after having done it, I'm sure it was. I guess I was quite spoiled by the way I qualified back in 05 with the special Wednesday night qualifier. I'll just have to try harder to win a Kotei next year so I don't have to bother Razz

There are a couple of things I'd like to note about this year's tournament season. LSC was a pain in the ass! 2 of my 3 losses in Denver were to it and 2 of my 3 losses at Gencon. I think there was 35 Dragon in the Thursday qualifier, almost all were LSC. I managed to play against a single military deck of my 6 games too, which was summarily crushed. Had lots of experience dealing with Hida Kuon so he went down easy. Very Happy

I had a great deck this year it just couldn't take the odds stacked against it. And they said honor was dead. Laughing

I managed to get all of the stuff ya'll asked for except for Adam. They were only handing IG3 out one a person. Sorry about that, but I guess its not as big a deal since its free and will come out soon. So here is the list of what I have and whats owed.

John, have a signed Hida Kuon exp6 mrp and Hida Kisada exp. I just need another Hida Kuon exp6 mrp to replace this one in my play set.
Cody, have a signed Daigotsu exp3. I just need another Daigotsu exp3 to replace this one in my play set.
Stephen, have a Phoenix foil clan pack with the Urbach cards signed along with 5 random rares and the new L5R artbook. I just need the $50 I payed for it back.
Adam, sorry! Crying or Very sad
